Hi Penny
Just wanted to thank you for another delightful vacation in your cozy Sierra cabin. The autumn painted the high county
in brush strokes of gold, yellows and soft burnt orange. Our annual hike to the buttes was made a bit more adventurous with
30-40 mile an hour wind gusts, with the steps to the fire tower actually shaking a bit. But the wind cleared the air and the
view of Mnt. Lassen, the valley and the Lake Tahoe basin was crystal clear. It was simply awesome.
The temperatures dropped during the night and we enjoyed a warm fire every morning. Well warmed from the fire and a hearty
breakfast we loaded our kayaks and headed to Salmon Lake. I would have been content to just paddle around but the fish were
jumping and we returned to the cabin with two good sized brown trout for dinner. It just doesn't get any better than that.

miles Turn LEFT onto CA-89/CA-267. Continue to follow CA-89. 28.10 miles In Sierraville Turn SLIGHT LEFT
onto CA-49. 17.93 milesThis will take you into Sierra City. Off of 49 turn onto Butte Street up a steep hill, fork
in the road, turn left onto Butte Avenue. This will run you into the driveway of 107.

Start out going South on CA-20/E ST toward CA-70. 0.06 miles. Turn LEFT onto CA-20/CA-70/9TH ST. Continue
to follow CA-20/CA-70. 0.48 miles. Turn RIGHT onto CA-20/12TH ST. Continue to follow CA-20. 11.78 miles. Turn LEFT onto
MARYSVILLE RD. 11.39 miles Turn RIGHT onto MARYSVILLE RD/CR-E20. Continue to follow MARYSVILLE RD. 19.21 miles. Turn LEFT
onto CA-49 into Downieville 23 miles, follow through Downieville on highway 49 across bridge (Yuba River) into Sierra City
12 miles. Off of 49 turn onto Butte Street up a steep hill, fork in the road, turn left onto Butte Avenue.
