My stay
Hi Penny
Wanted to thank you for having your wonderful cabin available for our use. We had a very relaxing vacation, did a bit
of kayaking on Salmon Pond and hiked Haskels Peak. What a view!
Though I have been to Sierra City several times, this was by far the most relaxing, due in large part to the spacious
comfort of your cabin. The antiques, curios and other memorabilia through out the cabin, lent us to wonder at the stories
they held.
My friend Donna, who accompanied me, owns the little trailer just down the road from you, at the very corner of Butte
Street and the road up to the dump. She spent her summers as a child in Sierra City. She really enjoyed the "old world" feel
of your cabin.

My Stay
Hi Penny,
Just wanted to let you know that we thoroughly enjoyed the cabin, got lots of great
hikes in and relaxed with friends.
Each of us would be glad to stay again and will probably, through the course of
life, refer friends.

I-80 E. 91.93 miles Take the CA-89 N/CA-267 S exit toward NORTH SHORE/LAKE TAHOE/SIERRAVILLE/KINGS BEACH. 0.17
miles Turn LEFT onto CA-89/CA-267. Continue to follow CA-89. 28.10 miles In Sierraville Turn SLIGHT LEFT
onto CA-49. 17.93 milesThis will take you into Sierra City. Off of 49 turn onto Butte Street up a steep hill, fork
in the road, turn left onto Butte Avenue. This will run you into the driveway of 107.

Start out going South on CA-20/E ST toward CA-70. 0.06 miles. Turn LEFT onto CA-20/CA-70/9TH ST. Continue
to follow CA-20/CA-70. 0.48 miles. Turn RIGHT onto CA-20/12TH ST. Continue to follow CA-20. 11.78 miles. Turn LEFT onto
MARYSVILLE RD. 11.39 miles Turn RIGHT onto MARYSVILLE RD/CR-E20. Continue to follow MARYSVILLE RD. 19.21 miles. Turn LEFT
onto CA-49 into Downieville 23 miles, follow through Downieville on highway 49 across bridge (Yuba River) into Sierra City
12 miles. Off of 49 turn onto Butte Street up a steep hill, fork in the road, turn left onto Butte Avenue.
